Questions
- Do my members need an account?
- No. They open your gym’s link and add themselves. Only the gym owner signs in, with an email link — no password.
- Where do the heat times come from?
- Start lists are published about three days before each race. StartHeat is already watching by then, and matches every athlete on your roster to their wave — name, division, race day and partner all have to agree — then writes the time, bib and live link onto their entry. If a time genuinely isn’t out yet, the board says so rather than showing you a placeholder.
- What if someone’s name doesn’t match?
- The entry shows “not on the start list under this name” so they can fix the spelling; the next check picks it up. If two people share a name, the board flags it for a human instead of guessing.
- Which races show up?
- By default, upcoming US races from HYROX’s calendar. You can widen that to North America or worldwide in settings, and anyone can add a race that isn’t listed.
- Is this affiliated with HYROX?
